Sergei Mavrodi

Mixed reactions have continued to trail the death of Sergei Mavrodi founder of the MMM pyramid scheme.

Mavrodi was reported dead after a heart attack in a hospital late on March 25.

You will recall that many Nigerians lost varying amount of money to the ponzi scheme when it crashed in 2016.

When the system crashed for unknown reasons in 2016, a total of N18billion was thrown into the sea resulting in the death of many. Despite plans to revive the business in 2017, it yielded little success

As Mavrodi’s death filtered in, many Nigerians have taken to social media platforms to share their thoughts about the development.

Some of them alleged that Nigerians have sent “gods of the land” to Russia with others berating the deceased for going to the grave with their money.
