Cristiano Ronaldo Scores First Serie A Goals For Juventus

Cristiano Ronaldo
Reigning Fifa Footballer of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo has finally scored his first competitive goal for new club Juventus in Sunday’s fourth Serie A game of the season, against Sassuolo.

The Portuguese superstar scored both goals as the Italian champions Juventus ran out 2-1 winners of the encounter.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner was the star signing of the summer transfer period, arriving amid great pomp and ceremony following a 100 million euro ($117 million) deal from Real Madrid.

Ronaldo scored his first in the 50th minute, and he couldn’t have asked for an easier finish! Ferrari tried to head behind a corner, but his clearance actually hits off the inside of the post and comes straight to Ronaldo, who pokes in the easiest finish of his life from a yard out with no one around him with the Allianz Stadium erupting in celebration.

His second of the day which also came in the second half is a vintage Ronaldo strike, driving a left-footed strike across goal, leaving the keeper rooted to his spot.

Juve travel to Spain for Wednesday’s Champions League Group H clash with Valencia before taking on Frosinone in the league next weekend.
