Abubakar Bukola Saraki
Ilemona Onoja has been appointed as spokesperson for the Abubakar Bukola Saraki Campaign Organisation (ABSCO).

Mohammed Wakil, Director General of the BSCO, in a statement on Saturday, said the appointment was to take effect immediately.

Onoja, a legal practitioner, was educated at the Benue State University, Makurdi.

He attended the Nigerian Law School, Lagos campus, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2006.

“Over the years, Onoja has been a very vocal voice in the campaign for good governance, respect for human rights and upholding the principles of the rule of law,” the statement added.

The senate president, Saraki, is one of the around dozens of political figures jostling for the sole presidential ticket of opposition PDP after Shekarau returned to APC and Donald Duke joined SDP.
