Absolutely Heartbreaking Picture Of Man Crying As He Eats His Valentine’s Meal Alone

As many will say true love never dies.

Chasidy Gwaltney while in a restaurant in Corpus Christi, Texas, on Valentine’s day, saw an elderly gentleman sitting at a table by himself. He had his head in his hands as he sat in a booth set for two with a card propped on the table in front of him. On the other side of the table was his wife's ashes.

This picture is absolutely heartbreaking. A reminder that we should always cherish every moment shared with our partners.

Gwaltney shared the picture on Facebook saying: ‘You know? We are all guilty of taking our other half for granted from time to time.

‘We may forget to give a goodbye kiss, say I love you or just be so caught up in what we are doing at the moment that we don’t notice the very little things that mean so much to our special someone.

‘I saw something today that has made me remember that we won’t always have each other to hold, talk to, love, play with or even just aggravate every now and then.’
