Benin city, Edo state - An eyewitness reported violence that broke out today after some police officers allegedly pushed a a Commercial Driver to his death along MM Way, Benin City. Eyewitnesses say the driver was pushed because he allegedly refused to give the police officers bribe.

Angry residents and eyewitnesses subsequently set police patrol vans on fire after giving some of the officers a beating.
