I Lost To A Better Fighter – Joseph Parker Admits

Joseph Parker
Joseph Parker, who earned 7 million for his trouble, told Sky Sports after the fight he had no regrets.

"I lost to the better champion tonight," he said. "It's a good experience to be here. We'll be back. I'm young, I'm strong."

Parker has promised to get back to training after acknowledging that Anthony Joshua was the better boxer on Saturday.

Parker had lost on unanimous decisions to Joshua. The 26-year-old Aucklander became the first man to stretch Joshua, who moves to 21-0, the full 12 rounds but was defeated by unanimous decision on Saturday.

However, he insinuated that the referee affected his game plan with the repeated stops and separations.

“We could’ve worked on inside more but whatever happened here (with the referee), happened. We can’t change it.”
