The political situation in The Gambia is progressing after 22 years of authoritarian rule and bad laws the country’s president, Adama Barrow, has told BBC Hardtalk’s Zeinab Badawi.

President Barrow took office in January 2017 after defeating long-serving President Yahya Jammeh in an election the previous December.
