Chelsea beat Manchester United 1-0 to lift the FA Cup for the eighth time thanks to Eden Hazard’s 22nd minute penalty at Wembley on Saturday.

The Blues kept their discipline intact to withstand a second-half onslaught from United who were aiming to save their season from ending trophyless.

For the Blues, this feat was achieved on a day the world’s eyes were on a royal wedding 18 miles west in Windsor.

Antonio Conte’s men have, thus, salvaged a campaign in which they failed to qualify for next season’s Champions League after finishing fifth in the Premier League.
