World Cup: Moses “Devastated” By Nigeria's Group Stage Exit

Super Eagles of Nigeria player Victor Moses has expressed how devastated he was at the exit of the Super Eagles from the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia on Tuesday.

Argentina defeated Nigeria 2-1 to seal a spot in the round of 16 of the competition.

Moses who drew Nigeria level before Marcos Rojo sealed the win for Argentina, four minutes from time, said the team gave everything to make it to the next stage.

“To say I am devastated would be an understatement. The boys gave absolutely everything and I wish it could have led to us going through,” Moses tweeted.

“I am proud to be a part of this team though and I proud to be Nigerian. Thank you to the whole country for the incredible support. ❤🇳🇬 .”
