Edinson Cavani’s brilliant double helped Uruguay beat Portugal 2-1 to reach the quater-finals of the 2018 Fifa World Cup in Russia.
Cavani netted in either side of the half to cancel out a leveller from Pepe, as Oscar Tabarez’s charges turned in a memorable defensive showing to keep the Portuguese in check.
The victory sets up a quarter-final clash with France next week.
The French had earlier edged Argentina 4-3 in a thrilling contest, with rising youngster Kylian Mbappe also grabbing a double.
