Nigeria's Daily Oil Production Rises To 2.16 Million Barrels

Nigeria crude oil production has climbed to 2.16 million barrels per day in September, the highest for the year 2018.

This was revealed in a report by the Ministry of Petroleum Resources which noted that oil production in the country was at 2.145 million bpd in August.

That means a rise from 1.968 million bpd in July; 1.896 million bpd in June and 1.826 million in May.

The West African nation produced 2.069 million bpd in April, 2.022 million bpd in March, 2.105 in February.

In addition, the ministry said the country crude oil production for January 2018 stood at 2.070 million.
