Prince Charles And Wife Arrives Nigeria

L-R: Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla - Prince Charles
Heir to the British throne, Prince Charles and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla, have arrived in Abuja for a three-day visit to Nigeria.

The British High Commission had earlier announced that the Royals are in Nigeria as part of a nine-day tour to Africa.

The Commission says the visit is at the request and on behalf of the UK government.

Upon arrival in Abuja, Prince Charles and his wife were welcomed by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa.

During their visit to Nigeria, they would undertake a series of engagements in the country’s capital, Abuja, and Lagos.

In Lagos, the Prince and his wife will visit naval berths and join an event focused on business and environmental sustainability.

They will also attend an arts festival at the British Council to celebrate Nigeria’s thriving art scene, and to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the British Council in Nigeria.

The event will also celebrate The Prince’s 70th Birthday.

The other country’s Prince Charles had earlier visited include the Gambia and Ghana.
