Egypt, Senegal and Tunisia have joined Madagascar in qualifying for next year's African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Madagascar became the first team to book a place in the tournament that has now been expanded from 16 teams to 24.
Thailand-based midfielder Njiva Rakotoharimalala scored the only goal against Equatorial Guinea.
The island nation has made it to the AFCON for the first time, making it the 40th different nation to qualify.
The tournament will be held in Cameroon next June/July.
